Seeking support to heal painful parts of ourselves can make us feel alone and filled with shame. It is heavily stigmatized to ask for help, and stigmas can follow us like a shadow in every step we take. However, one of our first steps towards healing is to feel safe to share our pain. Together, we can dismantle the stigmas, pains, traumas, and the shadow of shame that follow you, and help cultivate a life of healing, joy, and community.
Facing systems of harm that deprive our authenticity, intimacy, and care has been part of my life’s experiences. It is my personal and professional stance to engage these parts through emotional connections, empathy, and compassion. In my therapy work, I have been grounded in supporting Black, Indigenous, and people of color, the LGBTQIA++ community, and other intersectional identities in navigating points of rupture, disconnected desires, and feeling stuck. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming therapy space that brings clients closer to their healed self. As an individual and relationship therapist, creating an inclusive environment for gender-affirming, ENM, poly, sex-positive, and BDSM & kink-affirming care is part of my practice. My practice is centered in opening up to life and exploration, repairing ruptures in trust, growing into your authentic self, and healing shame and traumas.
My work is focused on curiosity and discovery, finding pleasure, holding space for non-judgement, and dismantling systems of harm with restorative thoughts & experiences. For those who feel lost and do not know where to turn, I will be an active participant in the empowerment of your life. Whether your focus is on community, founded family, friendships, or other intimate partnerships, I strive to understand and support the relational work that encompasses my clients’ lives. This includes creating dialogue and light to liberation, uncovering confidence regarding intimacy, and restoring parts of the self harmed by trauma. As an EMDR-trained therapist, trauma recovery and harm reduction are instrumental to creating a life cultivated by safety, support, love, and care.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Forensic Counseling from Adler University; the degree allows me to provide services for anyone who has been affected by the criminal justice system. I am also a trained EMDR therapist, and I approach my therapeutic work from a trauma-informed and holistic lens.
My focus is to support you. I hope to provide empowerment towards healing, living the life you would like to lead, and finding community and support with love. By working together, we can create a pathway towards improved wellness, growth, and understanding.
