We live in a world where pushing through and tuning out are encouraged at every step. So many of us are caught up going through the motions of life, disconnected from what brings joy and connection with ourselves and with others. Often times we’re filled with shame about not “getting it right.” You’re here because you believe in something more for yourself. I’m here to help find what a fulfilled life means to you, together.

I believe that every person has deep knowledge of themselves and their own needs, but this inner voice is often obscured as we grow through the unresolved traumas, shame, and stigma that come at us from so many different areas of life. Together we will cultivate a space where your inner voice will feel safe and confident to sing whatever song makes you feel the most you.

As your therapist, you can expect a warm presence that will be endlessly curious about your experience and perspective. I always lead with compassion and you can also expect that I will challenge the patterns and ideas that keep you feeling stuck (while also acknowledging that we live in systems that are often designed to keep us feeling stuck).

My own experiences, navigating traumas, identity exploration, and sexual stigmas have deeply informed my journey as a compassionate human and as a therapist. My practice is person-centered, trauma-informed, and relational with an emphasis on self compassion. I welcome and celebrate all consensual sexual/romantic identities, all genders, races, and ethnicities, and recognize how much influence and meaning these identities and communities hold in our lived experience.

I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and have completed the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy externship and Gottman Level 1 training. I completed my clinical internship at Embrace Sexual Wellness Community Clinic in Ravenswood, working primarily with BIPOC, queer, and couple clients.
