It isn’t uncommon for my clients to feel that a part of themselves is out of reach. Many of us have experienced trauma and painful shame that keeps us from trusting ourselves and our partners. Whether you are looking for a change in your life or your relationship, I can offer you my expertise and commitment to finding more pleasure and ease in your life.

As a relational and sex therapist, I’m always interested in the stories and expectations of our lives. Our dominant culture teaches us that we should disown our desires to compromise with the demands we face. This strategy may have supported you in the short term, but I will challenge you to forgo compromise and instead become a negotiator in your life. We will practice curiosity and non-judgment as we resist the narratives that tell us who we should be, and instead carve out room for what makes you feel alive.

Making room for intimacy in our busy lives looks different for everyone. If you’re searching for support for yourself or your relationship, then you intuitively know that this process will be challenging. I will support you in focusing on your strengths and remembering that your desires matter.

I will bring compassion and transparency to support you in achieving your goals. Clinically, I practice a mixture of Internal Family Therapy (IFS) and Experiential Therapy and have an interest in men’s sexuality. I received my Bachelor’s degree in English from Oberlin College and a Master’s degree in Couples & Family Therapy from Adler University. I have also completed a Certification in Sex Therapy while studying at Adler University.

My training has shown me that the only consistency in our lives is change.  Whether you are looking to explore your own experiences or work on a relationship, you are taking the first step in being an active part of that change. I look forward to supporting you as we make room for greater vulnerability and pleasure in your life.
